Gough Street is a £52M Vita Group-operated PBSA scheme set to regenerate a brownfield plot facing Suffolk Street Queensway.

Two 'BREEAM Very Good' buildings of 10 & 29 storeys (ground, roof, plus 27 floors), are planned, comprising 540 bedrooms, in a wide selection of studios aimed at the top end of the student market.

This will be complemented by two levels of shared facilities & internal amenities to Gough Street, which will include a 24-hour concierge, bookable dining rooms (inc. one of level 28), a pool/games area, and laundry and study spaces. Landscaped terraces will also be accessible on levels 1, and 2, and to the peak of the 29 storey; with a bio-green garden on the roof of the ten-storey.

To Suffolk Street Queensway, a double-height glazed frontage will be introduced to the street and will house a state-of-the-art gym studio and social hub – potentially accommodating commercial uses.

The overall designs consist of a stack bonded brick finish with a horizontal rhythm, creating depth, texture, and visual interest in a primary route into the city.

Zero car parking is provided, but a new layby is to be created to Gough Street for deliveries, refuse & drop-offs; 207 cycle spaces will be the main source of transport; 47 of which are to be provided directly onto the street.
