WARNER FIELDS
Warner Fields is a new green riverside neighbourhood set to deliver an initial 1,353 homes alongside a re-naturalised River Rea.
Spread across five phases, over 50% of Warner Fields will be devoted to green and pedestrian space, a long-term vision for how to bring the River Rea to life.
All buildings, which will range from two to 15 storeys, will be set around a mixture of public and private gardens, planted riverbeds and new east-west pedestrian links through the site.
These new links will deliver a mixture of amenities and commercial and employment workspaces along the way, a new bridge, and Apollo Gardens, a riverside urban park set to connect Sherlock Street up towards another Birmingham gem: Highgate Park.
Phase 1: 389 homes across two new buildings to Barford and McDonald streets.
Phase II: Civil construction of the river works (its landscaping will align with Phases III & IIII.
Phase III: 427 homes across three new builds adjacent to the river.
Phase IIII: 240 homes within two builds, as well as works to Moseley Street.
Phase IIIII: 297 homes and works to Lower Darwin Street.
