HSBC UK, One Centenary Square, Birmingham - A Birmingham Gem!

One Centenary Square is the home of HSBC UK. The building is without doubt one of the city's architectural gems. Construction was followed with interest by our contributors.

In brief

One Centenary Square is a 210,000 sq ft office building owned and occupied by HSBC UK Head Office. The building occupies a prominent position overlooking Centenary Square.  To the rear of the build it overlooks the new Arena Central public realm.

The woven cladding on the exterior of the building creates a distrinctive facade.

The building was designed by MAKE Architects.  Arena Central Developments LLP is a joint venture led by Kier.
