Holloway Head is being re-energised with the introduction of a new 485-home community.

Spread over four new builds, the site is well advanced and shaping up beautifully!

The site at 49 Holloway Head, just behind The Sentinels, had been a neglected eyesore for well over two decades.

In 2019, Invesco Real Estate took a punt on the area – and Holloway Head is now rising!

Spread over two phases and four buildings, the site will deliver 132 one, 345 two & 8 three-bedroom homes to cater to every lifestyle.

Complementing these will be a multitude of amenities including shared meeting rooms, workspaces, lounges, dining areas, a street-facing gymnasium, courtyards, roof terraces, and spaces for up to 57 cars (including Blue Badge & EVs) & 112 bicycles.

Phase I - two buildings of up to 14 storeys - is closing in on completion (April 2024). In addition to the homes and amenities, it is here where the Birmingham Girl Guides will call their new HQ; their facilities will include activity rooms, a common room, a main hall, and a shop.

Holloway Head is being re-energised with the creation of a new residential community, bringing 485 new homes to the area over the next few years.

Spread over four new builds, the site is shaping up nicely!

The site at 49 Holloway Head, just behind The Sentinels, had been a neglected eyesore for well over two decades.

Spread over two phases, and four buildings, Holloway Head will ultimately deliver 132 one, 345 two & 8 three-bedroom apartments to cater to every lifestyle.

Complementing these homes will be a multitude of amenities including shared meeting and workspaces, dining areas, a residents’ media lounge, a street-facing gymnasium, courtyards, roof terraces, and spaces for 56 cars & 112 bicycles.

Phase I is well advanced and features two new buildings of up to 14 storeys fronting Holloway Head. Along with the homes it is also here where the Girl Guides will call their new HQ.

They will move from their old Trefoil House – now demolished on phase II land to the north of the site – with facilities including activity rooms, common room, a main hall, and a shop.

PHASE II:

Trefoil House is no more. It has been demolished. Work is now underway on the final two buildings.

Holloway Head is being re-energised with the creation of a new residential community, bringing up to 485 new homes to the area.

Four new buildings will go up over the next few years, with Phase 1 shaping up nicely

49-51 Holloway Head had stood derelict for over 25 long years.

In the last decade – at least – the site, which had become a target for vandalism, had threatened to be developed, but any optimism soon vanished when the site kept being sold on.

In 2019, Invesco Real Estate took a punt on the area – and Holloway Head is now rising!

We will see four new buildings: two in phase 1; and two in phase 2.

The re-energised site will deliver a new community of up to 485 homes (PRS), in buildings ranging from 10 to 16 storeys, complemented by a host of amenities and a 3,600K SF commercial unit, bringing more vitality to an ever-changing area.

Residents will benefit from landscaped courtyards, lounges, co-working areas, dining spaces, a gymnasium, and roof terraces.

Phase 1 is in full flow and progressing nicely – and is well on course for a 2024 completion.

Phase 2, expected to commence in late 2024/ early 2025, will then see the relocation of the Girl Guides HQ from their current Trefoil House building on Blucher Street, into the new building, enabling the final two buildings to be completed by Winvic.
