In brief

Leopold Works aims to bring back to life a derelict corner site with 70 apartments within a prominent 8 and 10-storey new build at the heart of the emerging Rea Valley Urban Quarter - a sustainable district in the making.

The prominent new build, sat to the corner of Moseley Road and Cheapside, would re-establish the dense urban grain with the surrounding and emerging buildings in the area, bringing a sense of place with the creation of a new sustainable community.

One, two & three-bedroom apartments would be created, in a mixture of 31 one-bedroom, 30 two-bed & 9 three-bedroom apartments, in sizes ranging from 44.4sqm to a healthy 126.3sqm.

Sixteen residents would have access to either private balconies or outdoor terrace spaces, with the rest of the site facilitating a 64sqm first-floor co-working space, and a 237sqm of communal amenity on the tenth floor, offering spectacular views across the city.

With blue and green roofs and photovoltaic panels provided, Leopold Works is to be a car-free affair; however, cycles for 78 would be amply provided at both ground and lower ground floor levels.
