The development
Photographic Works is a boutique four-storey development of 50 apartments and duplex townhouses, with landscaped podium gardens.
The £7.5m development from Hatchbury blends history with contemporary style to offer 43 one-and-two-bedroom apartments (18 one, 30 two-beds), alongside 5 two-storey duplex townhouses.
Spread over four-storeys to Camden Street, the development provides lift access to all floors, landscaped communal gardens to all on the first floor, and private balconies/gardens to select apartments.
Private gated on-site car parking is limited but available, alongside EV charging points, bicycle storage for 48, and a highly-secure door locking system to all apartments.
Photographic Works has been designed in its materiality to take inspiration from the site’s former use as a Photographic Processing Works for Munn’s Brothers, noticeable in the brick piers that are reminiscent of film strips. The company once developed films for companies such as Boots.
